Warrington-based engineering firm, Boulting Group, is taking positive steps towards future skills availability by the award of ten Apprenticeships across its diverse business units.

Boulting continues to recruit, train and support apprentices across the multi-disciplined organisation, illustrating a high level of confidence in the future direction of the Boulting business.

“Future skill levels will underpin the business and we continue to give this a high priority,” commented Paul Meagh the Electrical and Instrumentation director, responsible for the E&I apprentices.

“Our Apprentices have often developed to take key roles in our business over the years, and underpins the company’s standing in the sector,” he added. “We are delighted to be employing these young people and look forward to them having long, happy and successful careers with us.”

The team join as apprentices in Design, Electrical Engineering and Pipefitting and as Panel Wirers. The 2015 apprentices are the latest in a long line of local talent that Boulting has developed since 1962.

Mr. Meagh continued, “Our Apprenticeship Scheme is a primary contributor to the socio-economic planning where we believe we are putting something back into our local communities.”
