Diffraction Gratings

Bach Research offers a comprehensive range of ruled master and replica gratings both plane and curved for a variety of applications:

For Laboratory Instrumentation – eg monochromators and spectrophotometers – where substrates are typically float glass or pyrex
For High Power Lasers – used as both intracavity components and output couplers – where substrates are typically copper, stainless steel or invar.
The master grating list includes line spacings from 6.61 to 3600 lines per mm and blaze wavelengths from 75 nm to 77 microns.

In addition, Bach offers a competitive custom ruling service when the requirement is not covered by one of their extensive master inventory.

Bach has a particular expertise in the manufacture of Echelle type gratings and in satisfying the demanding requirements of one-of-a-kind optical hardware that has found itself booked on many space missions, from Voyager to the James Webb Space Telescope due to launch in 2018.

Seeing the world through other eyes with The Imaging Source cameras

Cameras from The Imaging Source can be found in many areas of everyday life: industry, food and beverage production, research sciences, pharmaceuticals and medicine, traffic and parking management. Applications in sports, leisure and media are also taking hold. The human eye is limited to a small range of visible light, but the cameras and software from The Imaging Source make the invisible – visible. Machine vision technology and efficiency which improves the quality of life for everyone by protecting lives and making them safer and more enjoyable..

Products include industrial ,microscope, autofocus, zoom and board cameras Outputs include GigE Vision, USB2.0, USB3.0, USB3.1 and FireWire.

Bitflow Inc

BitFlow has been developing industrial frame grabbers and software for the imaging industry since 1993. They specialize in interfacing to cameras with very high data/frame rates. Their frame grabbers are utilized in environments with complex triggering and I/O requirements. What’s best is that their frame grabbers are running in applications where every CPU cycle is precious.

Their frame grabber interfaces are Camera Link, CoaXPress, and Differential. Their software is some of the easiest to use, yet incredibly powerful and reliable. They offer APIs to the common image processing software packages and will work with you on your custom software to ensure you are up and running in no time.

New Imaging Technologies – Seeing beyond the visible

New Imaging Technologies (NIT) offers CMOS and InGaAs imaging sensors and cameras operating over an extraordinary dynamic range of more than 140dB. The sensors are particularly useful for machine vision, automobile and autonomous driving, biometrics, security and surveillance. NIT delivers from large volume production down to small numbers and custom products. Their facility is fully ISO9001 accredited.

Their SWIR or Short-Wave Infrared imaging covers the wavelength range from 900nm to 1700nm. A large number of applications that are difficult or impossible to perform using visible light are made possible, with great results, using short-wave infrared (SWIR) imaging thus enabling the user to “See Beyond the Visible”. SWIR is similar to visible light in that photons are reflected or absorbed by an object, providing the strong contrast needed for higher resolution imaging– unlike thermal images, that rely on radiated photons. At NIT, they offer unique SWIR cameras and sensors.
