Displacement sensors in the new ZX1 series from Omron are said to offer a cost effect solution, providing easy operation with high accuracy and stable measurements, irrespective of the target colour or surface type.
The versatility of the new sensor range is demonstrated by its wide sensing range, which extends from 20mm to 1,000mm depending on the selected model. Utilising a state of the art HDSR (High Speed & Dynamic Range) CMOS sensor, the ZX1 can deliver stable results even with challenging targets such as matt rubber or those with shiny reflective surfaces.
All the ZX1 sensors have a built-in operation display which is factory calibrated to provide a live measurement. This not only eliminates the need for PC based set-up, but also provides users an immediate indication of measurement and operation status.
The ZX1 can offer high performance measurement sensing, without the ‘high performance’ price tag.
