It’s all about information, control, power and safety

SPE Offshore Europe, 3rd-6th September 2013, will bring together the world’s leading industrial giants of oil and gas to share ideas, innovation, solutions and tools and to debate the biggest issues of an increasingly complex business.

Amongst those will be Rockwell Automation, whose stand 1C52, in conjunction with strategic alliance partner Endress+Hauser, will offer Offshore Europe’s global audience of engineers, technical specialists, industry leaders and experts an opportunity to see how improved integration of information, control, power and safety solutions can make the industry more efficient and profitable.

The experienced Rockwell Automation team on-site for the event will include UK oil and gas industry manager Martin Walder, who anticipates a bigger than ever Offshore Europe. “We’re excited to take our place alongside the world’s leading oil and gas companies to show how Rockwell Automation solutions, particularly PlantPAx, our process automation system, help our customers converge their traditional DCS & PLC applications into an integrated asset-wide system that simplifies maintenance and reduces lifecycle support costs.” PlantPAx is at the heart of the Rockwell Automation ICSS (Integrated Control & Safety System) and IPCS (Integrated Power and Control System) incorporating a leading Intelligent Motor Control Centre.

In addition to PlantPAx, visitors to the stand will also have an opportunity to find out more about the Rockwell Automation high availability process safety systems. Systems on view will include the AADvance subsea safety controller, partner to the traditional panel mount product sharing the same development platform and connectivity. In an industry where safety is always a high priority and where it’s never been more of a talking point, the free process safety handbook Process Safebook 1 is rapidly becoming an indispensable resource to process system design and development engineers.

The joint stand will also showcase the products and continued strategic collaboration with measurement instrumentation, services and solution providers Endress+Hauser. It’s an alliance which has helped customers increase safety integrity and reliability while reducing operational risk, maintenance cost and engineering and commissioning time.
