In the build up to MACH, Ellesco was so confident in the quality and capabilities of its surface finishing, polishing and deburring machines that it was inviting prospective customers to trial their parts at the exhibition. The result was the sale of a Kuhlmeyer ZBS 2 belt long grinding machine and also a Timesavers 42 Series rotary brush deburring and radiusing machine.

The open invite to potential customers prior to the show brought upward of 60 companies to the stand with their trial components, a figure not inclusive of the sales enquiries obtained. This will deliver the potential for continued sales after the exhibition. The launch of the new Ellesco brand and a new website in the run up to MACH were complemented by the company’s largest ever stand at MACH with nine fully operational machines. To witness the success and the development of the company, company founder & chairman Leonard Simonis (86 years old) attended the show to see how his business has evolved from a company taking 15sq/m at MACH to the 2014 stand dimensions of 200sq/m.

Soon to be celebrating its 40th year in business, Ellesco has over 3000 UK & Ireland machine installations. From a product perspective, Ellesco was delighted to give the Timesavers 42 Series TB1000 rotary brush machine its global exhibition debut at MACH, much to the delight of stand visitors. This innovative new machine was accompanied by the launch of the newly designed Timesavers 42 Series 1350WRbW at MACH. These new arrivals to the UK show that Timesavers offers the potential to improve cycle times, set-up times and reduce labour input that is unsurpassed.

These two new machines were shown alongside the WMS Engineering robotic hard tool deburring system that was also seen at MACH for the first time. The WMS-Engineering series is ideal for deburring cast or machined components through a contained robotic cell. At MACH, the WMS unit on show was the W10 7-head robotic cell that has been integrated into many automotive production lines in Germany.

As well as these new machines at MACH, Ellesco also demonstrated high pressure waterjet deburring solutions from Sugino, polishing machines from Autopulit and extraction units from UK manufacturer Carter Thorne. This combination of technologies proved a remarkable success for Ellesco at MACH. Furthermore, the technology proved of major significance to the UK manufacturers attending the event.
