Industrial IT solutions provider, SolutionsPT, will be showcasing the latest Wonderware 2014 products which aim to deliver improved operator awareness and performance during a nationwide roadshow.
Delegates at the Industrial Software Revolution Roadshow will receive an in-depth introduction to the newly updated Wonderware products, including the eagerly anticipated InTouch 2014, Historian 2014 and System Platform 2014. The roadshow events are being staged at locations across England, Ireland and Scotland running from March 3rd to the 20th.
The latest Wonderware software has been developed with the needs of today’s customers firmly in mind. It has been designed to minimise disruption to operations by improving operator awareness and ultimately maximising performance, breaking the mould on older methods of deployment, development and visual simplicity.
Sue Roche, software manager at SolutionsPT, said, “The vast amount of research and development that has gone into this new release has been solely focused around improving operator awareness, optimising systems and enhancing operator performance, and the results are very much based on the challenges facing real companies.
“One of the most pressing issues identified was being able to recognise and address potential issues before they disrupt production. Wonderware InTouch 2014 and Wonderware System Platform 2014 use an innovative approach to HMI design and supervisory systems to address this problem.
“Pioneering technologies in window navigation and alarm management, plus improvements in the way data is presented, all combine to allow operators to identify and combat issues before they become disruptive.”
Other topics to be covered at the roadshows will include high performance HMI, HMI for mobile devices, the next generation of data capture and analysis, centralised and consolidated IT control, and maximising alarm structures.
The roadshows will offer a combination of expert presentations and practical hands-on session and delegates can choose whether to attend for the whole day or just a morning or afternoon session.
