“Wireless and web-based into the future” – that is Sigmatek’s motto at this year’s Hanover Trade Fair. Smart automation components and solutions for digitalisation in the smart factory will be presented.

Included among the highlights are the mobile wireless HMIs with multi-touch widescreen (PCT) in various models – in portrait or landscape format, optional with rotary encoders and Safety elements such as emergency stop, confirmation switch and key switch. The mobile panels make operating and controlling in the industrial environment intuitive and safe. Since multiple units can be operated with only one panel, high efficiency and flexibility are ensured.

The web-based LASAL VISUDesigner proves itself as efficient. Through the use of modern HMI tools, attractive visualisations can be created on the different HMI sizes according to current web standards such as HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.

With the browser-based Remote Access Platform, all doors are open to the implementation of Industry 4.0 applications. Machines can be remotely maintained, debugged and the software can be updated around the globe. Additionally, machine data can be comfortably collected and evaluated in one location. The compact PC 521, designed for edge computing, also convinces as a local, extensive data storage medium in digitalisation.

At the Sigmatek exhibition stand, automated guided vehicles from Melkus Mechatronic can be seen in motion. New to the AGUMOS family is the very compact, self-guided platform C4060 (40 x 60 x 21 cm), on which any load carrier can be mounted providing efficiency and flexibility in material transport. The control, drive and Safety technology of the versatile AVG platform comes from Sigmatek.
