Tomorrow, 3rd July, Schneider Electric, a leader in digital transformation of energy management and automation, will hold its annual consumer packaged goods forum at its Innovation Hub in Coventry.
The event invites customers which include some of the world’s leading consumer packaged goods companies, to examine how advancements in technology will optimise profitability, increase efficiency and improve sustainability within the industry.
The forum provides an opportunity to discuss the latest industry issues and trends including, digitisation, market changes, ROI and the rise of smart factories. During interactive sessions, attendees will get the opportunity to network with industry experts through a series of keynote sessions and workshops.
The forum will address these challenges and trends in the industry, before focusing on specific areas including:
- Advancements in robotics and control – for businesses to achieve higher levels of performance and flexibility they must be open to exploring new technologies. At the event, CPG leaders will showcase examples of their success in doing so and present some of the key challenges they have faced in the industry today
- Building robust strategies for enterprise-wide Cybersecurity – with a particular focus on how to manipulate, store and utilise data in a cyber safe manner
- Managing existing plant assets through a digital transformation – with insight into how businesses can maximise reliability in manufacturing through analytics. The leader of Schneider Electric’s global Smart Factory Programme will share his experience with customers on how Schneider Electric have already implemented this across 80 factories to date
- The role of the digital twin on the factory floor – in helping manufacturers to increase efficiency and improve productivity by understanding how their machines work and why they are performing in the way they are
“Following on from last year’s success, we believe this forum provides our customers with the perfect opportunity to discuss the biggest challenges in the industry, whilst sharing best practice amongst their peer group. We are delighted to announce that our partner AVEVA will also be in attendance at the event to discuss key industry trends including the digital twin, predictive analytics and advanced process control, alongside our various Schneider Electric experts”, said Mark Yeeles, Industrial Segment Director at Schneider Electric – who will be leading the day.
“This is an opportunity for industry leaders to network and to gain a deeper understanding of the next-generation of manufacturing technology. With a variety of sessions and keynotes on offer, those attending will be given greater clarity on how manufacturing optimisation and digital safety go hand-in-hand”.
