Rockwell Automation has embedded IO Link in its standard 42JT sensor range. They can be used as a standard sensor with auto detect PNP/NPN outputs or IO Link when it detects the IO master. This flexibility makes it suitable for all applications.
With a choice of visible red LED and Class 1 “eye safe” lasers you now have a full range of background suppression, through beam, polarised retro-reflective, diffuse and clear sensors available.
