greenTEG radiation detectors and position sensors

Wide band thermal detectors

greenTEG gSKIN radiation detectors are highly sensitive thermal detectors with a flat sensitivity curve across a broad spectral range up to 15 microns. They are ultra low noise devices with a fast response and compact design. They can measure between 100µW to 16W, with a linear power response.

Position sensors for laser applications

The new gSKIN position sensors give absolute power sensing of laser beams using a highly sensitive thermopile sensor. They are sensitive to all wavelengths from UV to mid IR and have a wide power range from µW to Watts. They are tolerant to beam angle and have a compact and robust design for system integration.

See below the surface with Terahertz Imaging cameras from TeraSense

terasense conveyor photo

Conventional cameras can only image the surface of an object. To see below the surface X-ray cameras have been used but these cameras can have safety issues and are expensive. Terahertz imaging offers a safe, flexible, compact and less expensive way of viewing below the surface of an object.

Several camera types are available from TeraSense:-

  • Area cameras. Cameras are available with 256, 1024 or 4096 pixels. Pixel size is 1.5×1.5mm.
  • High speed linear sensor with 256×1 pixels and a line rate of 5 kHz.
  • Sub Terahertz line scan camera with 256×4 pixels.

Terahertz imaging can also be used in many other applications including security, medical, petrol and oil quality control and beam profile measurement of Time Domain (TDS) and Frequency Domain (FDS) generation systems.
