The WebIQ HMI platform from Beijer Electronics was awarded the title of Editor’s Choice Award 2023 by Control Engineering China, out of 200 new products released by industry manufacturers.

WebIQ is a 100% web-based HMI system that is fully responsive and platform independent. HMIs can run seamlessly on web-based HMIs, smartphones, and tablets thanks to WebIQ’s open network technologies (OPC-UA, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript) and responsive layout. The applications can be easily created using drag-and-drop configuration instead of writing code and by using more than 50 built-in widgets, no programming knowledge is required.

Internationally renowned companies, including major German automobile manufacturers, pneumatic component manufacturers, and automation equipment integrators, use WebIQ, which was developed by Smart HMI GmbH, a German company acquired by Beijer Electronics.

Yves Li, Sales Director of Beijer Electronics China, stated, “In the rapidly growing field of platform-independent web technology driven by market demand, Beijer Electronics has successfully integrated the WebIQ software platform, achieving a balance between IT’s low-code, lightweight nature and OT’s real-time, secure aspects. This has further enriched Beijer Electronics’ product portfolio in the industrial automation sector, providing customers with a more comprehensive range of choices.”
