ClearView Imaging will be demonstrating a range of machine vision systems directly applicable to real-world problems in the Print, Packaging and Manufacturing sectors. Three live demos will be based on the Matrox Iris GT smart camera. The Iris GT is capable of high speed and high resolution imaging in demanding environments (IP67-rated). It can be supplied with integrated LED lighting, a touch screen interface and industrial communications. Specifically ClearView will be demonstrating the GT’s capabilities in very high precision colour classification, robust 2D code reading/verification, and advanced defect detection.
ClearView will also be demonstrating a high resolution, inline packaging inspection solution. This addresses the needs of volume manufacturers in maintaining the highest possible quality standards. Specifically the system will verify date & batch codes, check label placement, and read/verify all current 1D and 2D codes.
