New Lee Spring products will be on display at the Southern Manufacturing and Electronics Exhibition 2014 on stand number J94, from 12-13 February, at Farnborough International Venue and Events (FIVE), Hampshire, UK.
“The Lee Spring range of stock springs is expanding in 2014” explains Chris Petts. “Over 100 new metric designs have been added to our range of Bantam™ Mini Compression Springs and a unique line of low index, High Pressure Compression Springs has also been added to our product offering.”
Bantam Mini Compression Springs are designed to operate in smaller spaces and are powerful. Lee Spring’s new metric range starts at .01mm, which is just a little thicker than a human hair, with outside diameters from .81 to 1.65 mm and free lengths from 1 mm to 14 mm.
Bantam Mini Compression Springs are used in various applications including in medical instruments, surgical tools, telecommunication devices, computer and digital hardware.
The new application driven High Pressure Compression Springs available from Lee Spring offer very high spring rates in a more compact spring design. Applications that might require these new springs include switches, ball plungers, safety relief valves, quick change tools and vice clamps.
The Lee Spring stand will show a selection of springs and fasteners that are typically specified for the manufacturing and electronics industries and Lee Spring specialists will be available on the stand to talk about springs and fasteners in manufacturing and electronics applications.
