wenglor sensoric’s new product line is distinguished by three operating principles. As of immediately, the Tettnang enterprise will market flow rate, pressure and temperature sensors produced by subsidiary wenglor fluid GmbH (formerly AFM Sensorik GmbH) under the wenglorFluid brand name. Roughly one year after the takeover, wenglor’s fluid sensors have been technically updated to the state-ofthe-art and are more convincing than ever with their unique measuring method – after all, more than 20 years of ingenious German engineering stand behind the rugged, watertight housings made of either plastic or stainless steel.

wenglorFluid sensors are based on a patented process which is unique in the field of flow sensor technology. As a result, the products can be mounted without regard to position and flow direction, and deliver precision measurement results despite simple installation. wenglorFluid sensors are extremely user-friendly thanks to their uniform design concept, as well as easy operation and connection. The watertight plastic and stainless steel housings assure highly accurate measuring performance even under pressure. In particular the large 7-segment display provides for easy, intuitive operation. The separate LED which allows for quick recognition of the switching status is also new. All of the sensors have a switching output which can be configured as either normally closed (NC) or normally open (NO) via the menu. If desired, the sensors can be additionally equipped with an analog current or voltage output.

Flowing Innovation: UniFlow Sensors
wenglor’s UniFlow sensors ascertain the flow velocities of oily and aqueous media in closed piping systems. They don’t have to be aligned to the direction of flow during installation, because heating as well as the temperature sensor are located in the tip of the Flow Sensor. Even if the sensor is turned around, the switching point doesn’t have to be readjusted. Furthermore, UniFlow Sensors can be mounted either parallel or perpendicular to the pipe, making positioning irrelevant. This installation option provides for maximized flexibility.

Top Performance Even Under Pressure: UniBar Pressure Sensors
UniBar Pressure Sensors measure the relative pressure of any desired media in closed systems within a range of -1 to +600 bar. wenglor Pressure Sensors with metallic membrane are extremely well suited for areas with strict hygiene requirement, for example in the food and pharmaceuticals industries. They’re flush mounted and are thus compatible with pipe cleaning devices. This assures ideal prospects for keeping pipe systems clean.

Precision in Spite of Heat: UniTemp Temperature Sensors
UniTemp Temperature Sensors measure the temperature of liquid and gaseous media, and make it possible to monitor temperature within processes. They can be used under greatly varying ambient conditions because the switching points can be individually adjusted, and they’re distinguished by a measuring range of 0 to +200° C.
