The ISG LightWise IQ Intelligent Camera Family brings unparalleled performance and capabilities to the imaging world. The family contains the world renowned ISG Image Pipeline for advanced high-quality hardware-programmable based image processing. This camera family has Dual GigE Vision interfaces along with an embedded Linux compute engine, large FPGA and plenty of memory. An option for CoaXPress™ is built-in. The camera family features Truesense Imaging (formerly Kodak) Interline Transfer CCDs, which are best in class sensors for image quality and low noise. Advanced triggering and strobes are available. A totally programmable Canon F-Mount is controllable from any remote location, featuring, full aperture and focus control.
Coherent Magnum II structured light laser is a high power line generator developed for the most demanding applications. It is available with a wide selection of output powers and fan angles and generates a uniform intensity distribution, using patented line generating optics. In addition, the laser has high beam pointing and focusing stabilities.
The Magnum II has fully protected electronics as well as a bipolar thermoelectric cooler used to keep the laser diode at a constant temperature. The laser beam can be modulated by an external signal and all models can be operated in either CW or external modulation mode.
The standard unit provides voltage outputs proportional to the beam power, laser diode current and laser diode temperature, for external monitoring. Optionally, the LCD located on the back panel can monitor these parameters. All units have a built in time-lapse counter that enables the user to monitor the laser diode lifetime.
EVT RazerCam – It’s fast – It’s smart – It’s ruggedThe EVT RazerCam series is ultra small but offers powerful processing capabilities and many IOs. The camera features efficient image capture and processing capabilities.
The RazerCam hardware is a compact machine vision system and a mobile robot platform in industrial automation areas. Especially suited to high-speed applications the RazerCam has available a freely programmable FPGA.
The RazerCam is equipped with either CMOS or CCD sensors, with global shutters, in different resolutions, compatible with a variety of industrial field-bus standards, such as CAN/RS485.
Meet the world’s smallest Wide Dynamic Range cameras – ideal for welding processes, seam inspection and laser cutting
M8 R&D have produces two of the smallest WDR cameras available.
8pico Cam is a monochrome, analogue output (CCIR/PAL or EIA/NTSC), rolling shutter camera with the Native Wide Dynamic Range™ technology inside. The NSC0902 1/4in format sensor from NIT uses a solar cell pixel structure offering a true logarithmic response versus optical illumination, without saturation, with more than 120 dB true dynamic range!
The 8picoSnapColor also uses the WDR sensor technology from NIT: the NSC1003C 2/3in format sensor with a resolution of 1280×1024 and a global shutter is partially scanned to give a PAL or NTSC analogue colour output. The dynamic range is 140dB. The camera is available with or without the NIR cut filter. The camera body is a compact 21x21x79mm and uses the standard S-mount lens fitting.
Sentech launch new field-update line scan cameras for industrial application
A new series of field update (FU) line scan cameras for high speed imaging applications has been launched by Japan/US machine vision specialist Sentech.
The cameras are equipped with high performance CMOS sensors with 2K, 4K, 8K and 16k pixels for monochrome cameras and 2K, 4K and 8K pixels for colour cameras. All cameras can be fitted with C, F, M42 or M72 lens mounts.
For the monochrome cameras line rates up to 80 kHz are possible. The cameras incorporate high speed exposure control, external trigger, flat field correction and field update capability.
Focus on Spacecom Lenses
Space is a Japanese company dedicated to manufacture of lenses for Machine Vision, CCTV and IP cameras – currently around 170 different models.
All processes, from designing to manufacture and including: mould building, polishing, coating, production of metal body parts and PCBs, and the final assembly are carried out in-house, in a fully integrated environment.
This arrangement reduces costs and improves quality, as well as allowing short delivery times.
For the Machine Vision customers there is a choice of Megapixel and Multi Megapixel lenses in all the popular focal lengths and sensor formats. Additionally, Space offers Machine Vision quality motorized zooms, again with Megapixel resolution and up to 1in format.
For specialist applications that require a “fast” or “high speed” – i.e. wide aperture – lens (e.g. when using high-frame rate and/or low-light cameras), Space offers the “F0.95 Series”. Originally available in 17, 25 and 50mm focal lengths, the latest addition is a unique 38mm lens with an unusually large image circle of 21mm (which makes it suitable for sensors of up to 4/3 format).
You may have not come across Spacecom lenses before, but it may well be worth considering them if you are looking for high quality and performance at a very competitive price. Ask Alrad for a quote!
