Multipix Imaging will be hosting an educational technology day at the Heritage Motor Museum, 25th February 2014.
Multipix Imaging will be joined by leading 3D Machine Vision experts, and visitors can gain in-depth advice on a variety of 3D data acquisition, data processing and analysis methods. The focus is set on applications in classic fields such as robotics and automation, including bin picking, item identification and volume measurement.
Multipix experts will outline and compare various 3D image acquisition procedures and their effectiveness as well as discuss the latest trends and developments in processing the data through powerful HALCON Imaging Processing Software.
Focusing on a practical approach, Multipix will use a variety of best practice examples, including an in-depth presentation on the Ensenso N10 stereo camera and its ‘Projected Texture Stereo Vision’ methods which can even capture untextured surfaces which are usually ‘immune’ to stereo imaging techniques.
Participants will have the opportunity to discuss their own applications with Multipix experts and get hands-on advice. It’s a free event, with lunch included, which will open your eyes to the possibilities 3D Vision can bring.
