Cameras
Growing on a month by month basis, Hikvision offer a full range of Area and Line Scan Machine Vision cameras with interfaces including GigE, 10GigE, USB 3.0 and cameralink with the following resolutions for area scan cameras: 1.3MP, 2.0MP, 2.3MP, 3MP, 5MP, 6MP, 8MP, 10MP, 12MP, 20MP and 29MP and 2K, 4K and 8K resolution for the line scan cameras.

As the sole distributor for the HikVision product range in the UK and Ireland, Scorpion Vision understands at first-hand the capabilities of the high performance X86 based smart camera and saw an opportunity to integrate our advanced vision software to create a high quality solution from applications from vision guided robots to barcode reading. Open format Smart Cameras are also available to allow the customer to integrate their own algorithms.

With such a huge volume of camera and optics manufacturing, Hikvision have quickly established themselves as a supplier of High quality factory automation lenses with optical formats of 4/3″, 1.1″, 2/3″ and 1/1.8″ and focal lengths from 6mm to 85mm In addition a full range of both standard resolution and high resolution telecentric lenses are available.
Vision Box – Image processing PC
The Vision Box is a super-compact fanless industrial PC and is specially designed for the machine vision industry and industrial applications and with an amazing price performance this versatile PC is proving very popular. The Vision Box has Embedded MV Software, a Light Source Drive Control and an on-board E3845 quad-core 1.91GHz processor. This combination provides excellent processing performance, low power consumption and system expansion capability. There are 3 models to choose from with SSD options and lighting controller integration – customised version can also be provided.
