The new Axioline E product family from Phoenix Contact is a range of modular I/O products for field installations. With plastic and metal housing variants, the IP67 compliant I/O family works on Ethercat, Ethernet/IP, Modbus/TCP, Profinet, Sercos, and Profibus networks. I/O functionality includes digital functions and an I/O link master for each network.
There are five different I/O link/analogue converters for analogue functions – AI/I, AO/U, AO/I, AO/U, and RTD – in two different housing types – straight and angled. The product line includes a total of 70 items that are being introduced to market. A feature of the Axioline E series is that it can be rapidly installed with the Speedcon quick locking system. It is vibration resistant up to 5g, shock resistance up to 30g, and is easy to operate due to its different coloured connections and clear signalling.
The new M12 power connections, with a current carrying capacity of 2 x 12A, ensures efficient power supply to the devices. This reduces cabling costs because only one cable is required per device.
