
IMI’s Industrial Automation sector has formally appointed Harry Deng as Managing Director, Industrial Automation, APAC, strengthening the company’s leadership team in one of its fastest-growing manufacturing regions.
As part of his new role, Harry is responsible for advancing IMI’s Industrial Automation strategic objectives across key regional markets, including China, Southeast Asia and Taiwan, Australia and New Zealand, India, Japan and Korea.
He will focus on accelerating organic growth, deepening customer partnerships in market segments such as Factory Automation, Fluid Control, Rail, and Energy, and strengthening supply chain and operational performance across the region.
With more than 31 years of industrial experience at international companies, Harry brings extensive engineering and commercial leadership experience to the role. His previous positions have included Managing Director and General Manager, where he led cross-functional teams, expanded market share, and delivered sustained revenue growth.
