Applied Automation Industrial Systems
Applied Industrial Systems (IS) is a key part of Applied Automation’s Technical Distribution Division. Established over 30 years ago, the Industrial Systems team designs robust frameworks, structures and systems for machine build, lean manufacturing and materials handling projects.
Using the highly versatile aluminium profile system manufactured by German based MayTec, experts at IS can create load bearing, functional and aesthetically pleasing solutions to even the most challenging of applications.
To give customers even more flexibility, once a design has been agreed, the component required to build the structure can be purchased individually for self-assembly our the experienced IS team can provide you with the complete design, process and assembly service.
To highlight the flexibility of the MayTec system checkout a recent request for an acoustic enclosure offering.

Did you Know:
We’ve recently purchased three fantastic Markforged 3D Printers and can now offer our customers competitive rates for 3D printed functional components.

Our pair of Markforged Mark Two printers are powerful 3D printers that can take you from CAD to beautiful end-use strong, aluminium strength, parts in literally minutes.
And in addition, our Markforged X7 printer combines the advantages of Markforged’s unique continuous fibre reinforcement, for higher strength than aluminium, with the excellent surface of Onyx . This is a game changer. As is enables you to produce highly complex and precise components that previously had to be milled.
These machines are set up to run and we have some printer capacity.
Find out how you can additively manufacture components that previously had to be produced uneconomically by mechanical means.
