Lenze UK has gained Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) status, the internationally recognised mark of quality in efforts within the international supply chain and custom controls procedures.

AEO status is an internationally recognised status from HMRC which shows a business role in the supply chain is secure and that their customs controls and procedures comply with EU standards.  AEO status enables quicker access through custom procedures and the right to fast track shipments through custom safety and security measures.

In the event of a hard Brexit come 31 October, AEO status will provide reassurance to Lenze’s customers and help to reduce any potential border delays.

Simon Cherry, Lenze UK financial controller says, “No one really knows what is going to happen over the coming months and years as the government prepares for a no-deal Brexit. As a global business, it is vital that we put in as manymeasures as possible to ensure we minimise potential disruption in delivering our products and services.”
