Danfoss VLT frequency converters have a thermal motor protection feature, which makes it possible to protect the motor from overheating; thereby extending the life of the motor.
As the name suggests, this feature protects the engine against overheating so that the engine does not burn. The motor protection is available for all VLT frequency converters, but may not be in enabled automatically in the default settings.
