The new Idem HS hinge switch has been designed to provide interlock position sensing of hinged moving guards and access doors.
In addition to interlock position sensing of the hinged guard the HS also provides a robust hinge function and is available in mirror polished stainless steel or mirror polished die-cast finish.
Available in slow make/break 3NC 1NO, or 2NC 2NO positive opening contacts in accordance with IEC 60947-5-1 once fitted the switch offers an extremely high degree of anti-tamper.
Positive actuation of the contacts is achieved at only 6° degrees and can be adjusted up to 12° degrees on installation if required.
Enclosures are low profile, designed with hygienic wash-down procedures in mind and are protected to IP67/IP69K to ensure maximum reliability in harsh environments.
