strothmann innovationHandling automation expert opens its doors

Schloss Holte-Stukenbrock, Germany – STROTHMANN Machines & Handling opens its Schloss Holte-Stukenbrock (Germany) production site for the third Innovation Days on the 16th and 17th of May, 2013. The automation expert offers guided tours of the facilities and lectures on current customer and research projects. These include handling solutions custom-tailored for car body press lines, e.g., for blank loading into large presses, for transfer in hot stamping, crossbar, and transfer presses, or special feeders for tandem press lines. The intra-logistics branch has news to report and show, too: STROTHMANN has extended the RoundTrack system by new components for transporting heavy goods and optimized its own production processes in cooperation with the Lemgo University of Applied Sciences. Visitors will furthermore have the chance to learn more about the findings of and developments within the framework of the “it’s OWL” excellence cluster which brings together 174 leading-edge companies and research institutions from the region.
