Bosch Rexroth is taking its Technology Showcase on the road this summer with a host of leading industry speakers sharing unique insights into digitalisation, leading open discussions around Industry 4.0 and hosting a series of interactive workshops.

Kicking off at Coventry’s Advanced Manufacturing Training Centre (AMTC) on 12 June, visitors will be able to immerse themselves in a world of connected engineering with speakers including: Jannette Kothe, IIoT Solution Architect, Bosch Rexroth, will be breaking down the stigma around Industry 4.0 and explore the perfect recipe to successful digitalisation. Lina Huertas, Head of Technology Strategy for Digital Manufacturing, AMTC will discuss how the industrial evolution is driving innovation.

“For manufacturers beginning to develop their approaches to implementing innovation in their facilities, our Technology Showcase is an unmissable event,” says Jake Mitchell, Product Manager for Industrial Hydraulics at Bosch Rexroth. “We’ve seen a number of significant developments in hydraulics in recent years, as well as in electric, linear and mobile technology, which have helped to move traditional forms of equipment into the modern day by using smart technology and improved process to increase performance and efficiency.

“Our event is specifically designed to aid people’s understanding of these developments and see for themselves how they could make their business fit for the future. It’s also an opportunity for people of all engineering disciplines to come along and learn more about the technology which will be used in the industry for years to come, so we’re looking forward to welcoming visitors at the events.”

The Showcase will enable visitors to get to grips with the latest products, ensuring they are able to make the most of opportunities for greater efficiency and productivity brought about by industry trends. Rexroth’s team of experts will also be on hand to provide advice and support with any challenges visitors are experiencing in their business.

Following its day at the AMTC in Coventry, the Technology Showcase will then make its way to Bosch Rexroth’s site in Wakefield on Thursday 14th June. Showing the recently installed Industry 4.0 and augmented reality solutions in action, the day will demonstrate Rexroth’s vision for the factory of the future. There will also be Jonathan Wright, Managing Director, Colchester Machines Tools, sharing his own i4.0 journey with visitors, exploring the importance of striking a balance between affordability and innovation to achieve the greatest impact.
