Centa Transmissions is demonstrating the range of standard gears, gearboxes, flexible couplings and driveshafts for a multitude of motion control and precision positioning drive applications. Partnered with the World’s foremost gear manufacturers, Centa designs and builds drive solutions that may integrate small precision face gears by ASS-AG, planetary gears from Sumer, and high precision robotic drives and Cyclo speed reducers by Sumitomo. All customer application requirements are carefully evaluated, considering torque, inertia, speed, ratio, operational duty times, shock and peak loading conditions, dimensional limitations and any backlash constraints.
Also on stand D18 will be Centa’s range of Electromagnetic Clutches, which are compatible with all types of PTO drive. Originally available in 7 sizes from 250 to 10,600, the EMC now has an extended range of PTOs, which are engineered to suit individual customer requirements, so please talk to Centa about the solution you need. The new EMC has been created to solve specific problems in response to market demands and fulfils a long-standing need for versatile and watertight remote operated industrial clutches.
Work has now been completed on a 382m2 extension to the Centa factory in Shipley, which has enabled the company to restructure production and warehousing facilities for greater output and efficiency. The extended building houses addition production cells, which enables components up to 660mm diameter to be produced on site.
