With the manufacturing industry preparing for a significant step-change, the inaugural Industry 4.0 Summit will take place on 4-5th April 2017 at the Manchester Convention Centre.

Industry 4.0 Summit is said to Europe’s only multinational event dedicated to the future of manufacturing industries. Described as the 4th industrial revolution, the world is currently witnessing a number of innovations which are fundamentally changing the way manufacturing businesses operate for the future. Industry 4.0 Summit provides a platform to showcase the latest innovations, process changes and technological advancements coming to the market.

Event organiser Gary Gilmour, commented: “What will the factory of the future look like? How will technology play a bigger part in your manufacturing? What about next generation communication, systems and concepts? All very real concerns for modern manufacturers. Supported by some of the biggest bodies in manufacturing, both inside and outside of government (including the All-Party Parliamentary Manufacturing Group), the event will welcome around 50 influential guest speakers from industry leading names such as Siemens, ABB, Mitsubishi, TechUK, ATOS, Fujitsu, Smart Industry Netherlands, and the Austrian Federal Ministry of Transport, Innovation and Technology.

Industry 4.0 Summit will cover the broad spectrum of manufacturing arenas, from biotech, textiles, electronics, construction, energy, defence, aerospace, automotive and consumer markets.
