High Efficiency IE2 and IE3 motors, servo motors, direct drive motors, high performance motors and specialised lift motors will be exhibited alongside examples of specially engineered motor solutions on the Lafert Electric Motors stand at the Drives & Controls exhibition (Stand D1404, April 17-19). In addition there will be a selection of the company’s AC/DC brake motors and single phase machines.
Non-standard is standard for Lafert and all the company’s motors can be custom-engineered to suit customer requirements with any combination of special shafts, flanges, windings etc.
Lafert’s servo motors are new to the UK but are established products across Europe and benefit from the company’s proven permanent magnet expertise. The range covers from 0.15 to 150Nm. The direct drive option goes up to 500Nm. As well as benefitting from an enhanced weight/size ratio, the high performance motors also offer substantial increases in efficiency over conventional AC induction motors. The proposed IE4 standards are achieved across the whole speed range.
The ‘standard’ AC three-phase motors are available in 56 to 315 frame sizes.
