Sensors UK Ltd are pleased to announce the New FLS-C laser from Dimetix, with a long range and fast update speed making it ideal for a range of dynamic positioning applications.
Due to innovative laser technology, the FLS-C distance measuring device measures the absolute distance to an object with a fixed update rate of 200 Hz.
The FLS-C distance measuring device has a unique accuracy of 1 mm and a typical repeatability of 0.3 mm. Distances up to 500 meters can be measured with target speeds up to 10 m/s.
The FLS-C distance measuring device is designed to be suitable for both, heavy industrial and outdoor applications.
It is constructed of a solid metal case and provides class IP65 environmental protection. It represents a cost effective solution even at extreme environment temperatures as low as -40° C.
Applications for this sensor are wide and varied throughout industry.
They include positioning and detection in high rack storage, gantry cranes, harbour equipment as well as in the steel and wood industry etc.
