Hamamatsu Showcase at Photonex 2015 Exhibition

c12880maHamamatsu Photonics introduce at Photonex 2015 our new innovative ultra-compact products such as the new Micro Spectrometer and MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems) Mirrors which were developed using MEMS techniques and to enable the design of more compact instrumentation and open exciting new application areas.

The new C12880MA Micro Spectrometer is an ultra-compact, fingertip size spectrometer head offering wider spectral response and high sensitivity over the UV to visible range. It offers a spectral range of 340 – 850 nm and a sensitivity two orders or magnitude higher than the original C12666MA Micro Spectrometer, which won the 2015 Prism Award for detectors and sensors at Photonics West 2015.

Also on show the improved ORCA-Flash4.0 V2 scientific CMOS camera; the only camera to deliver peak Quantum Efficiency (QE) of over 80% and a new high resolution (640 x 512 pixels, pixel size: 20 µm x 20 µm), 14 bit, cooled NIR InGaAs camera with a peak quantum efficiency of 80% at 1.55 µm.
