MiniTecAs a fascinating and interesting departure from ‘business as usual’, the Basingstoke based machine framing designer and manufacturer, MiniTec UK supplied and commissioned all of the team and fourth official dugout shelters for the Asian Cup football competition that ran during January 2011 in Qatar. The competition, staged by the Asian Football Confederation featured 16 national teams from all over Asia.

MiniTec first ventured into the sports shelter market in 2006, using its modular Profile System to build FA standard dugouts customised in blue and gold livery for its local team Basingstoke Town FC, who play in the Blue Square South League. Whilst normally used for machine frames, workbenches, guard systems, conveyors and even complete automated production lines, the durable and modular extruded aluminium profile framing system can equally be applied to architectural applications such as sports dugouts or outside shelters. Profile System offers complete flexibility in design using MiniTec’s own innovative CC-Assembler CAD and parts listing/pricing platform, or may be used in combination with all major CAD programs with over 50 2D and 3D CAD formats available. Structures can include acrylic panels with customised colours and logos as well as the ability to apply complex curves to the extruded profile for aesthetic and practical design variation.
