Elobau UK has launched its new 204KS miniature Broken Finger Switch for industrial and vehicle applications. This new level switch, manufactured in Germany, has a more compact packaging than the standard Broken Finger Switch. It has been specifically designed for fluid tanks where either tank capacity or installation space is limited.
The 204KS has two mounting options, a compression grommet or a G1/2in threaded version. The switch body, available in either polypropylene (PP) or polyamide (PA), houses a non-contact reed switch. The magnet is housed in the float, providing reliable switching operation. Electrical connection is made through an M12 connector or a flying lead, which can be fitted with a range of connectors.
Non-contacting reed switch technology ensures a long service life, providing reliable switching function for in excess of one million cycles. The 204KS has an operating temperature range of -25°C to +105°C.
