The Panasonic range of Eco-Power meters has been increased further with the introduction of the new advanced KW9M. The existing KW9 Eco-Power meter has been improved to allow it to comply with IEC61557-12 for effective energy saving. The ability to monitor power quality through accurate measurement of Total Harmonic Distortion and any unbalance between the current and voltage of each phase is one of the features of this new model.
The KW9 series Eco-Power meter features a large back lit LCD display in a 96mm x 96mm housing. Individual line voltage or current readings can be clearly displayed, in addition to active, reactive and apparent power readings.
Various logging functions are available on the Advanced type that include the ability to record and time stamp maximum readings for Power, Current, Voltage etc for a monthly period and also from a Power Quality perspective under/over voltages/currents and voltage interruptions.
I/O functions include the ability to monitor pulse outputs from other devices including flow meters and outputting alarm signals when certain parameters are exceeded.
