KUKA System Partner SCM Handling held an open house event at its facility in Somerset joined by the KUKA sales team on the 26th&27th February.
Guests were given guided tours of the manufacturing facility and design offices. They were also able to experience three different robot cells, all demonstrating different kinds of gripper technology and handling different products. The event created a brilliant opportunity to see SCM systems and KUKA equipment in full use.
KUKA were also able to showcase their new high speed KR Agilus robot in which it challenged the visitors to a game of Noughts and Crosses.
The two day event proved very successful for both customers and suppliers. KUKA were also given opportunity to present SCM with their System Partner System certificate for 2014. This was presented by Tony Dowling-Robot Sales Specialist to Lorraine Boulton Director of SCM.
