Photonex 2013 and Vision UK is now the key 2013 European event for vision and imaging technologies.
Vision UK is “In Action” again as an integral part of Photonex 2013. The UK’s Industrial Vision Association, UKIVA, is organising a seminar programme to bring existing and potential users of vision up-to-date with the latest technology and reflect the breadth of vision capabilities across many different disciplines and industries. There will be in-depth presentations from industrial suppliers including Alrad Imaging, Gilden Photonics, Multipix Imaging, Scorpion Vision and Stemmer Imaging.

Vision UK provides an extensive exhibition of components and systems for applications across industries and research. Cutting edge advances in industrial vision and machine vision will be on show. Quality components and effective system integration is essential to the development of a successful vision system for processes. A number of companies will be showing their approach to IR imaging. Defence applications will be shown alongside process applications such as unwanted hot spots in electronic manufacture and predictive maintenance protocols.
This year sees a lot more scientific imaging techniques on show including hyperspectral imaging, thermal imaging and laser imaging. Visitors can contrast and compare technologies before choosing those new industrial vision solutions that fit their specific needs.
Photonex, now in its 22nd year organised by Xmark Media, is reporting on a 30% increase in reservations for space for this year’s exhibition with companies coming from across the globe to share their latest technology from components to complete turnkey solutions applying photonics. Co-located with Photonex is Vacuum Expo, an event dedicated to vacuum technologies.
